The event titled ‘Overheated’ will take place over six days during Eilish’s Happier Than Ever world tour. The Grammy award-winning singer and activist will perform and hold discussions about Climate change with musicians, activists, designers, and other cultural figures, including climate campaigner Vanessa Nakate and YouTuber Jack Harries.

According to the O2 website, topics discussed “will range from greening practices in the music industry to the benefits of a plant-based diet, and sustainable fashion.”

The event will take place on six non-consecutive days on June 10, 11, 12, 16, 25, and 26. The first day will kick off with a panel event featuring introductions by Billie Eilish and FINNEAS, with another keynote speaker to be announced. The pair’s mother and founder of Support+Feed, Maggie Baird, will also be a key speaker on multiple days.

Support+Feed is a charity that takes action for the “global shift to an equitable, plant-based food system to combat food insecurity and the climate crisis.”

Regarding the event, Maggie Baird said, “We are thrilled to be in London and to have this opportunity to connect and discuss different ways we can take action to mitigate the climate crisis.

Eilish has been a long-time activist for climate action, and during the COP26 climate summit, she called on leaders worldwide to “stand together and speak up for our planet, not just for us, but for our future generations.”

Proceeds from the ticket sales will go to Support + Feed and REVERB, which encourages musicians and venues to strive for sustainability. General ticket sales open May 9th. Check out The O2 website or ticket websites to get your tickets!
