Animal lovers and activists have long been pushing to end animal testing and see more products that are vegan and cruelty-free. Thankfully, the vegan cosmetic market is expanding exponentially, and we have people like Billie Eilish to thank.

It’s no secret that public figures and celebrities play a large role in influencing the public. When someone with a large following promotes cruel practices like using fur, buying animal-tested makeup, etc., it encourages others to do the same.

But seven-time Grammy winner Billie Eilish does the opposite. The young singer has a large following and has even broken multiple Instagram records for the amount of “likes” she receives. As a long-time vegan, Eilish regularly uses her platform to promote cruelty-free and conscious living. She even went out of her way to make her tour eco-friendly. She’s done so much that she won PETA’s “Person of the Year” award.

For those who know what Billie represents when it comes to animals and living, it should be no surprise that the perfume she launched back in November is vegan and cruelty-free. Beyond that, the carton is made with 100% wind energy and it contains biodegradable cello wrap.

The perfume was originally only available on Billie’s own fragrance website, where it sold out within hours of launching. But now, the perfume is available on Ulta!

Eilish announced the launch of her fragrance to Ulta on Instagram on January 23, writing, “my fragrance ‘Eilish’ is now available on! can’t wait for more of you to have it in your hands.”

“it was a dream to create this scent and bring my ideas to life. this has been one of the most exciting things i’ve ever done,” Eilish said.

It’s awesome to see more cruelty-free and vegan options on the market.
