Have you ever loved something so much that you just couldn’t hide it? Like, your first sip of a really great cup of coffee or your warm sheets when you climb into bed after a long day? You can’t help but heave an appreciative sigh and offer up a satisfied eye roll as you savor the awesomeness.
So then, you can relate when you see an Australian pug named Barry so enraptured by his bath in a nice, deep sink that the enjoyment is written all over his squishy little face. Honestly, we can’t think of a time we’ve ever seen anyone more pleased by something than when his guardian turns the warm sprayer on and starts bath time. For as many dogs that tolerate or even dislike baths, we’re sure there are equal numbers that enjoy it but Barry has got to take the clean-up cake.
Can you imagine how smoothly life would go if all it took was the promise of a bath in a sink to make you completely gleeful? Life would be like, “Hey Jimmy, you’re being audited by the IRS” and Jimmy would just be all, “No worries, I’m gonna hop in my sink for some bubbly time.” Maybe Barry will inspire a new movement to hit the soapy kind of suds when we’re stressed out instead of the boozy kind? It could be a whole thing, with t-shirts that say things like “Keep Calm and Shower On,” or “I’d Lather Be Bathing?” The possibilities are endless.
Wether the “Don’t Worry, Be Soapy” trend takes off or not, it’s always pretty sweet to see a pet parent taking such good care of their best buddy. This is obviously not Barry’s first bath as he’s completely relaxed and at ease with the entire grooming process. Properly caring for our pets and making them feel comfortable with the process takes patience, practice and love, which affectionate guardians are more than happy to take the time for. Sharing your life with a pet means ensuring their needs are met, and Barry’s person appears to be hitting it out of the park. Or, should we say, out of the sink.

Well it sure helps with that incredible spray nozzle. He obviously loves his daddy and his daddy loves him. Just adorable
