It’s no secret that Ricky Gervais is an unabashed animal lover and outspoken proponent for Animal rights. Never at a loss for snarky wit, he isn’t afraid to take to Twitter with a quip about animals or the people who would harm them. Seriously, the man is an animal advocate quote machine. Be it hunting, vivisection or just his love for furry friends, Ricky shares his opinion proudly and it never ceases to delight us.
PETA’s person of the year for 2013, one of the topics he’s been most outspoken about is cosmetics testing on animals. Participating in The Humane Society of the United States’ Be Cruelty-Free USA campaign, Gervais made it clear that he’s no fan of the cruel and unnecessary practice.
Which were the exact sentiments that he expressed recently when he sat down with our own Activist Pug to discuss the issue. Activist Pug is a tireless crusader for the health and well-being of all animals, which made them the perfect Green Monsters to have a con-fab regarding their opinions on cosmetics testing.
