We even wrongly look at pit bulls as savage, dangerous creatures, thinking this is their inherent nature. For many, there is a dichotomy between humans and animals, with the divide being that humanity needs to progress, not just survive.

Some non-animal lovers do not see animals as compassionate beings, capable of emotion. But let’s stop for a moment and consider the caring, loving traits of animals. Sure, they can show their teeth and be ferocious at times. But they also demonstrate clear compassion and love that extends beyond the need to allow their species to survive. Sometimes, like the dog in this video, they take in stray kittens and nurse them as their own.
