There is nothing that makes us happier than a successful animal rescue story. This heartwarming tale of a rescued pig named Tonet comes to us from Santuario Compasión Animal, an animal sanctuary in Valencia, Spain. This organization rescues abused farm animals, providing them with veterinary care, safe shelter, nourishment, and tons of hugs and love.
When baby Tonet arrived at the sanctuary, she was a sad little piglet who had only experienced cruelty from humans. After weeks of gentle loving care, a visit to the vet, and hours of snout scratches, she is gradually learning to trust humans and move on from her dreadful past. With each passing day, Tonet is gaining back her health and growing into the happy smiling pig we all love to see.
