Kylie Minogue, an Australian pop sensation, relaunched her perfume with a new and improved vegan formula. The scent was first launched in 2006, but the singer decided to make a vegan-friendly formula that even has a longer-lasting smell.
Minogue posed in a pink dress as she was promoting her Darling fragrance which is now on sale in the United States after a relaunch in the UK, Spain, France, and Australia earlier this year. The floral scent is said to have notes of passion fruit, freesia, and lychee.
Some fragrances contain animal products in the formula, while others have been tested on animals. Trying to shop for cosmetics while staying vegan can be a challenge sometimes. Brands are never going to advertise that they aren’t vegan or cruelty-free, but there are lots of brands that proudly commercialize they are. Before purchasing, always look for a PETA-approved, Leaping Bunny or vegan sticker on a product!
