While Hurricane Helene tore through Tennessee, Impact Plastics allegedly forced workers to stay at their factory in Erwin—despite rising floodwaters and pleas to evacuate. The result? At least three employees are dead, others still missing. Survivors say management refused evacuation requests until it was too late.
This wasn’t an accident—it was preventable. No job is worth dying for. Companies must never be allowed to sacrifice human lives for profit.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is reviewing the incident, but they must go further. We need full accountability.
Sign the petition now. Demand that the TBI holds Impact Plastics responsible for every life lost.
