In the streets of Bucharest, Romania, among heaps of snow and in a terrible freezing weather, something incredible happened. A dog was spotted roaming around with a piece of plastic wrapped tight around his neck. Luckily, Ovidiu Rosu, a veterinary specialist, noticed the dog and was determined to find and help this poor animal. Rosu set out in over three feet of snow and spent hsix hours looking for the dog!
Once the dog was in his care, he gave the dog tranquilizers and carefully cut through the plastic pipe with a pair of scissors, finding serious injuries underneath. The dog was then safely transported to a veterinary clinic and given further medical care.
It is truly incredible and inspiring to see a person act with such determination to save an animal’s life. Needless to say, it is hard to imagine what would have happened to this poor dog without his help. Each story like this is a wonderful reminder that good people are all around – and they will not hesitate to help!
