Messy and Audi: Two Pups Form Adorable Friendship Doting at Each Other From Across the Street

Friendship is essential to a happy and fulfilling life, and these two dogs weren’t going to let distance keep them apart.

Messy is an adorable yellow lab who lives in Thailand with her owner, Oranit Kittragul. Messy is a great friend to her owner, but she isn’t the only one who gets to call the pup a friend.

Across the street from Messy and Oranit, there’s a husky named Audi. Audi’s owner is away from home a lot for work, leaving Audi in the yard by himself. Sometimes he gets anxious, lonely, and can be heard wailing from his yard.

“When he feels lonely and cries, I always ask my dog to see and talk to him,” Oranit told The Dodo. “My dog just looks from my fence and sometime he barks to [Audi]. I don’t know what they are communicating, but he stops crying.”

Messy has been comforting Audi from a distance, but recently, the pair had the chance to meet close up. One day, Audi’s owner forgot to lock the gate, but Audi didn’t run away. Audi ran across the street to Messy’s house to finally meet his long-distance best friend.

He didn’t want to run away; he just wanted to go hug his best friend! Ornait took a picture of the sweet moment, and it soon went viral. The picture shows the two dogs on their hind legs peering over the fence and hugging each other.

A second picture shows sweet Audi resting his chin on Messy’s head. It’s just too cute!

After their owners saw the dog’s beautiful friendship, the two agreed that it is very important for these pups to be able to see each other more often. They have started having play dates and meet-ups for Audi and Messy to play together.
