Think Only Humans Go to Ugly Sweater Parties? Think Again!

The holidays are a time for family, fun, reflection and a collection of the most hideous sweaters a person can find. While debate rages on about how the tradition of donning a sweater with antlers, tinsel, bears, trees, blinking lights or any combination of the above and going to a party came to be, one thing is certain. People love ugly sweaters during the holidays.

People also love their animal companions, so it’s only natural that we would want to include them in the things we enjoy, right? One of the cornerstones of the fur baby/pet parent relationship, after all, is our ability to project our ridiculous whims and desires onto them while they tolerate us with more wisdom and patience than most humans ever will. Why they continue to love us so unconditionally while we do these ridiculous things is beyond us, but we sure are grateful that they do!

So, this holiday season, should you decide that maybe that ugly sweater party you were invited to would be 10 times better with your best buddy in attendance, (c’mon, that’s a no brainer. What wouldn’t be better with them involved?) here are a few wardrobe ideas:
