Survey Finds 39% of Single Women Rather Spend Valentine’s Day With their Dog

Dog Valentine's Day

In honor of Valentine’s Day, a new survey by Halo with Cesar Millan, in partnership with TOP Data, asked 3,000 dog owners in the United States about all things puppy love!

We sure do love our dogs! Did you know that 39% of unmarried women and 23% of unmarried men would rather spend Valentine’s Day with their dog? 60% of dog parents will give their pup a special treat on Valentine’s Day.

How are people celebrating Valentine’s Day with their dogs? Apart from giving their dog a treat, 49% of respondents tell their dog “I Love You,” 30% will post a photo of their dog to social media with a love note, and 25% will include their dog in a Valentine’s Day activity.
