Celebrate Turkeys this Thanksgiving with Farm Sanctuary’s Adopt a Turkey Program
Try out a new tradition this Thanksgiving by taking turkey off the table, and sponsor one’s care instead! Leading farm animal protection group, Farm Sanctuary, created the Adopt a Turkey Project to allow people the chance to provide care for rescued turkeys. Over the years, Farm Sanctuary has been able to care for more than 1,000 rescued turkeys through the program. For a one time donation of only $30, sponsors receive an adoption certificate with a color photo of their chosen turkey friend that they can cherish each year. You can even adopt a turkey in someone’s honor. It makes a great gift for friends and family!
