Last month, multiple animal heads were found in a plastic bag in Rhode Island. East Greenwich police speculate this was some sort of religious animal sacrifice ritual.
The Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty (RISPCA) reported that the bag was found near a boat launch on February 25th, 2022, after it was brought to the attention of local police. The bag had a calf’s head, several rooster heads, a lamb head, and a goat head.
The nonprofit said in their statement, “It is believed that animal remains that were found were from animals that were sacrificed as part of a religious ritual.”
The bag also contained grains and colored cloth material, which local authorities connected to past animal sacrifice investigations. There were also two hand-drawn pictures, one looked like a letter D with an arrow through it, and one looked like a smiling theater mask.
This is one of the most gruesome animal cruelty cases and the people who did this to these poor animals should face consequences. Anyone with any information about the bag or the significance of the drawings is encouraged to contact investigators or the RISPCA.

The Courts will always side with the defense of “Religious freedom.” Even the Pope as in Poland recently: Poland tried to ban ritual slaughter in the past, but even the Vatican complained that it was bigotry and restriction of religious freedom. The ban was overturned.
