Hilarious Video Shows Dog Alerting Family When Dirty Diaper Detected

There is no question that dogs are intelligent creatures. They are capable of so much, from guiding the blind to sniffing out when a dirty diaper needs changing! A TikTok video posted to the account @sapphie_the_pomsky shows one dog’s impressive and helpful skill.

Sapphie is a Pomeranian and Husky mix, known as a Pomsky, who lives with her people in San Diego. While the family was looking for interactive toys to keep Sapphie entertained, they stumbled across buttons that speak when pressed. The Pomsky soon mastered the basics and moved on to more complex words. Now, she even knows how to tell her humans when a dirty diaper needs to be changed!

In the video, Sapphire is shown alerting her parents that her human sibling needs their dirty diaper changed ASAP. She can be seen sniffing the baby, and then walking over to a set of buttons. She then presses two buttons which say “Poop” and “Change Diaper.” Her dad then comes over to change the baby. 

Sapphire’s impressive sense of smell and mastery of the buttons wowed TikTok viewers. “Every man needs one of these dogs when they get a baby,” joked user sarahgreen878. SwisslorD12 agreed, asking “Where can I get one?” The video has been liked over 3 million times on TikTok.
