Bats are some of the more mysterious creatures in the world, possibly because of their nocturnal nature. But, these fascinating, misunderstood creatures play a crucial role in their ecosystem. Bats use echolocation through high-pitched sounds so that they can fly through the night without hitting things. The human ear cannot hear these noises unless they are slowed down, like in the video above.
