A woman from Fort Worth, Texas, has won the heart of a feral cat and her four kittens after months of dedication. The heartwarming moment, shared on TikTok by user @jobiquin, shows the 27-year-old sitting with the once-wild cat, now named Agatha, as the feline finally allows herself to be petted and cuddled. The video has since gone viral, amassing over 1.7 million views and 490,600 likes.
Agatha, named after a character from the show Vikings, first appeared in the woman’s life when she wandered into a neighbor’s yard. After disappearing for a while, the young cat reappeared with a litter of kittens. The woman and her neighbor cared for the babies, and when Agatha had another litter in August, they stepped in to foster the family.
Now, months later, Agatha, who once feared humans, is learning to trust and accept love. The woman shared, “You can tell she wants to be loved… I feel like she knew it was hers and it meant she was ours.”
