By and large, sea lions get my vote for winning “So You Think You Can Dance” Ocean Edition. We’ve seen the incredible ability of these marine animals to keep a beat before, but this Go-Pro video truly showcases the extent of the sea lion’s moves.
Unfortunately, sea lions are rarely allowed the ability to showcase the full wonder of their skills in the endless waters of the ocean, thanks to sea-life spectacle shows like at SeaWorld. This video, however, captures the sea lion in its full, unadulterated beauty bounding across the ocean floor in what can only be described as the sea lion equivalent of Swan Lake.
Using a Go-Pro to capture the dance of the sea lion is the perfect example of a way we can enjoy wildlife without having to put them behind four walls of glass and concrete. All you get watching this video is the sound piece of mind that NO ANIMALS were harmed at the cost of your entertainment. Now, that’s what I call a good show!
