Little Beagle dog in the cage

After years of campaigning, a major win for Animal rights is finally near — the notorious Ridglan Farms beagle-breeding facility in Wisconsin will begin shutting down. But before its full closure in July 2026, the company allegedly plans to sell around 2,500 remaining dogs to research labs, condemning them to continued suffering instead of freedom.

Investigations have exposed disturbing allegations of animal cruelty: beagles kept in cramped cages, denied proper care, and subjected to painful procedures. These gentle, trusting dogs have already endured a lifetime of confinement. Selling them to laboratories would only deepen that cruelty.

We must ensure this closure becomes a victory for compassion, not another tragedy for animals. Urge Wisconsin officials to intervene and release every surviving Ridglan Farms beagle to rescue and adoption programs. Sign the petition now to give these dogs a chance at life beyond the lab.
