Members of the public watched in horror as a man allegedly stood on a west London bridge and tipped a box of kittens into the River Thames. One kitten survived only because a bystander acted quickly. Two others were pulled from the water later in serious condition and rushed for emergency veterinary care. This was not an accident. Witnesses say the act appeared deliberate and deeply disturbing.
Several people reported hearing the man allegedly say he wanted the kittens to die as they were thrown from the bridge. The incident happened in public, in full view of passersby, highlighting the severity of the cruelty involved. The man later admitted his actions were horrible, citing intoxication and personal issues, but those explanations do nothing to reduce the risk he may pose to animals in the future. When someone shows such disregard for life, prevention must come first. A lifetime ban on owning or caring for animals is essential. Sign the petition now to demand justice and protect animals.
