Petition: Free Beagle Puppies Facing Death in Police Custody

Beagle in a cage

Recently, activists broke in and freed 18 beagle puppies from an animal testing facility. Unfortunately, two of the dogs, Love and Libby, were captured by the police and are now considering them “contaminated property” and will be killed if they aren’t released.

The activists who broke into the facility released heartbreaking footage of living conditions.

“Dogs can be seen playing in their own excrement before making desperate attempts to interact with the rescuers.”

The animal testing facility has been criticized for its methods. They breed around 1,600 to 2,000 beagles each year and begin toxicology testing at only 16 weeks old, the petition reported.

These innocent puppies are not property or testing specimens, and they deserve to live a life better than the horrid conditions that they are experiencing at the animal testing facility. The two puppies in custody were returned to the animal testing breeding center, MBR Acres. The facility needs to be shut down, and Love and Libby need to be freed!
