Sick chicken because he was pegged by a big cock.

In Walker County, Georgia, farm animals were found in shocking conditions—missing fur, open wounds, inflamed skin, and severe malnourishment. Horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, chickens, and even a rabbit suffered needlessly due to alleged neglect. Though the vet said the owners didn’t act maliciously, the results were the same: animals in pain, denied proper care.

Thankfully, the animals have since been surrendered and are recovering at local sanctuaries—but this shouldn’t have happened. A lack of experience is no excuse for prolonged suffering. That’s why we’re urging authorities to impose a lifetime ban on animal ownership for those responsible.
