Dozens of neglected dogs were recently rescued from an allegedly filthy, flea-infested home in Oxford, Connecticut. Many were found with open sores, untreated illnesses, and even blindness. Shockingly, the man responsible is now asking to reclaim 22 of these innocent animals.

We must stop this. Prosecutors must recommend sentencing that permanently bans this individual from owning animals. These dogs were living in squalor—33 of them, trapped in conditions overrun by rats and disease. They were allegedly denied vet care, left to suffer infections, blindness, and malnutrition.

It’s unthinkable to return them to such harm. He still faces 20+ charges of animal cruelty—this alone should be enough to prevent future ownership. Sign the petition now to protect these animals and ensure they’re never placed back in danger.
