In the US, the tiger holds the top spot, followed by the camel and the moose. Europe has varied favorites, with the UK loving dolphins, Spain and Portugal preferring whales, and the French being keen on hippos. Germans adore elks, Bulgarians favor zebras, and Romanians are all about gorillas. Australians can’t resist monkeys, while New Zealanders have a soft spot for dolphins.

Africa mostly votes for tigers, with Rwanda being the exception, opting for lions. In South America, storks rule in Bolivia, horses in Argentina, and penguins in Peru, while Brazilians prefer whales.

Explore Worldwide also ranked the most popular wildlife destinations according to social media, with Canada taking the crown, boasting over 203 million Instagram hashtag posts and TikTok views. The top 10 list includes Australia, the UK, South Africa, Brazil, Scotland, Costa Rica, Nepal, Ethiopia, and England.
