Jack Russell Charms the Internet with Adorable Delivery Encounter

A small dog named Duncan has captured hearts across the internet after a photo showed him apparently begging a delivery driver to throw a ball for him. The Jack Russell terrier, who lives in New Jersey with his owner Michael Crowe, is a huge fan of playing fetch. Crowe received a delivery notification along with a photo of Duncan gazing hopefully at the driver, a tennis ball in his mouth, seemingly asking for a game.

Crowe shared the adorable image on Reddit’s “Aww” sub, where it quickly garnered nearly 4,000 upvotes. Crowe said that Duncan loves bringing his ball to anyone he encounters, from strangers at the dog park to their sprinkler repairman.

Duncan, who joined the family in 2022 after they lost their senior Jack Russell Griffin, shares his home with a mixed-breed rescue pup named Rooster. Crowe explained that Duncan rushed to grab his ball when he heard the delivery driver, capturing the heartwarming moment. Reddit users were charmed, with one joking that their dog would react similarly after a hundred throws, while another, a delivery driver, said they would always throw the ball if a dog brought it to them.

Crowe said he shared the photo because he enjoys seeing animal posts and knew others would find Duncan as cute as he does. He clarified that the driver did nothing wrong, noting that Duncan would persistently want the ball thrown no matter how many times it had already been done.
