When these rescuers would pass this poor chained-up dog every day without food or water, they knew they had to do something to help him. The poor pup was outside exposed to the elements and chained up with his water bowl flipped over and absolutely no food. The dog was covered in flies and looked sad and scared.

@ellirescues and her team tried for weeks for the dog’s human to give the dog to them so that they could find him a home where he would be loved and treated right. In the end, they offered the people $500 so that they could rescue the dog out of the abusive home. When the owners agreed, they rushed to the ATM to get the cash.
Finally, they were able to take the dog away from the home. Ripley looked so happy to be leaving and was jumping up and down and wagging his tail.

Exactly one month later, @ellirescues posted an update that sweet Ripley had finally been adopted! He looks like the happiest pup that could ever be, and in clips posted on TikTok, he can be seen getting belly rubs, frolicking in the grass and around the house, and watching ducks at a pond.
