Dog Is So Excited to Hear “Daddy’s Home”, Even Though He Is Sitting Next to Her!

For one dog, her human dad’s arrival home is the highlight of her day. Just the phrase “Daddy’s home” is enough to elicit excitement from Annabelle, an American bulldog. She gets excited to hear those words, even if her human is sitting right next to her!

In a TikTok video, Annabelle can be seen sitting on the couch. The camera pans to show her human dad sitting next to her. But then, the person filming utters the magic words. “Daddy’s home,” they say. Annabelle then excitedly looks towards the door, seeing if she can detect the noise of the garage door. Soon though, she realizes he is sitting next to her! Excitedly, the American bulldog rushes to say hello to him. 

The adorable video quickly went viral, racking up over 532,000 views. People loved Annabelle’s sweet reaction. User coffee commented, “Well no one TOLD her!!” Another said “Daddy! Did you hear that?! You’re home.”
