Deaf Dog Adopted After 753 Days at Shelter

After spending 753 days waiting for her forever home, a deaf dog has finally found her person! Lucy Ballerina came to the Humane Society of El Paso back in January of 2022. Although the deaf dog received some interest over the years, it never quite worked out. Fortunately, the shelter staff never gave up on finding Lucy Ballerina a loving forever home!

On February 3rd, the staff shared a picture of the deaf dog with her new person. Lucy Ballerina looks so excited! She is now enjoying soaking up all the love in her new home. Commenters on social media were quick to congratulate the deaf dog on her adoption. The post has received over 800 reactions.
