Chihuahua Joins Puppy’s Howls in Heartwarming Moment

A viral TikTok video has captured an unexpected moment between a new puppy and his older Chihuahua brother, leaving viewers touched. Ashley Pamplin, from Pittsburgh, shared a clip of her pomsky puppy, Frankie, howling for the first time. To her surprise, her 11-year-old Chihuahua, Rico, who had never howled before, joined in.

“I could tell he was about to start ‘talking’ so I started recording. That was his first howl. Then right after my 11-year-old Chihuahua joined right in! He has never howled in 11 years,” Pamplin said.

Rico had been Pamplin’s only pet for over a decade, and despite initial annoyance at the energetic puppy, the two eventually formed a strong bond. “Unfortunately, my Chihuahua, Rico, passed since I recorded this… But I cherish those videos because he had his own wolf pack before he died,” she added.

The video, now with over 2.6 million views, has warmed hearts across the internet, showing how even older pets can learn new tricks.
