At the Emerald Square Mall in Attleboro, Massachusetts, eight bulls escaped during a rodeo event on a Sunday afternoon. The incident began around 12:30 p.m. when the bulls managed to break free from their pens, prompting a dramatic escape through the parking lot. Witnesses captured video footage of the bulls charging through the mall’s parking area, jumping over a perimeter fence, and heading towards the woods behind a nearby restaurant. As the bulls dashed through the lot, onlookers were seen scrambling to safety. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the chaotic escape.
Local authorities responded quickly, and by late afternoon, seven of the eight bulls had been recaptured. One bull was caught shortly after the escape, while six others were found stuck behind a fence at a residence about six miles from the mall. The North Attleboro Fire Department, along with local police and rodeo staff, worked together to safely corral the bulls into a trailer.
However, as of Monday morning, one bull remains unaccounted for, sparking an ongoing search. Residents have been urged to stay vigilant and avoid approaching the bull if spotted, advising them to contact 911 immediately.
