Alaskan Malamute Owner Builds Dog House With AC

A lucky rescued Alaskan Malamute is staying cool this summer thanks to his owner’s kindness. Johnny, known as @manwith2dogs on TikTok, is going viral for his post showing his rescued Alaskan Malamute Titan lounging in his very own air-conditioned dog house. Johnny lives in California, but in recent years has made it his mission to rescue malamute and husky breed dogs from kill shelters. He then gives them lives of luxury.

Both Alaskan Malamutes and Huskies were bred to live in cold temperatures. Although they have experienced rising popularity in recent years, these dogs prefer cooler temperatures. Knowing this, Johnny designed a dog house that stays a brisk 53 degrees, no matter the temperature outside. Owners of these breeds should be sure that when temperatures rise over 70 degrees outside, dogs have a cool place to retreat to. It is important for all dogs, no matter what breed, to have temperate shelter, and access to cool clean water.
