Ingredients You Need for Turmeric Tofu Sesame Salad [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

For the Salad:

  • 2 cups or about half a head of iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 3 carrots, peeled and grated
  • 1 medium cucumber, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olives, sliced in half
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds toasted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (from sun-dried tomatoes)

For the Tofu:

  • 5.3 ounces tofu, sliced
  • A dash of olive oil
  • A sprinkle of white pepper
  • A dash of sesame oil
  • A pinch of chili flakes
  • A dash of tamari
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

How to Prepare Turmeric Tofu Sesame Salad [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

  1. Cook the tofu first. Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the tofu and all the other ingredients. Cook for around 5 minutes until nice and golden brown
