Rubi the sheep was pregnant, blind, and destined for slaughter before she was rescued by Wings of Heart animal sanctuary. If they hadn’t of intervened, she would not be alive right now, and her babies would have suffered the same fate soon after.
Thanks to Wings of Heart animal sanctuary, however, Rubi was able to give birth to her two lambs Karima and Samuel and love all over them until they’re all grown up!
Even better, they now have plenty of loving human companions who will make sure that they have everything they could ever need. It’s a win-win! Sadly, countless other goats, chickens, pigs, cows, and other livestock aren’t nearly so lucky.
