For cows, spending any time on a dairy farm is scary. If you’re a female cow you’re constantly having your babies stolen from you, mere moments after giving birth, and if you’re a male you’re getting carted off to become one of the many unlucky cows in the meat industry.
Despite the trauma they surely experienced during their time on a commercial dairy farm, the two rescued cows in this video who are now residing at Santuario Igualdad Interspecie, have been able to overcome their painful past. And after seeing the love, care, and stimulation they get from the caretakers at Santuario, it’s easy to see why! At the sanctuary, these cows are finally able to run around, play, and more importantly, fully develop and demonstrate their vibrant personalities!
Cows are extremely affectionate and intelligent creatures and this video truly shows the sweet behavior these animals are capable of when treated with compassion.
