Reed Mangels, PhD, RD, LDN is a vegan dietitian specializing in vegan and vegetarian nutrition. She volunteers with The Vegetarian Resource Group www.vrg.org and with the Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group of the American Dietetic Association www.vegetariannutrition.net. Reed co-authored the American Dietetic Association’s position on vegetarian diets. She is a regular contributor to Vegetarian Journal and is the co-author of Simply Vegan and of The Dietitian’s Guide to Vegetarian Diets.
