    Watermelon Summer Smoothie [Vegan]

    If you are not going to eat that big watermelon that’s been sitting in your fridge, then consider drinking it! Chop it up and blend it with a few mint leaves, some lime juice, a spoonful of liquid sweetener, such as maple syrup, and lots of ice cubes.

    Ingredients You Need for Watermelon Summer Smoothie [Vegan]

    • 2 full cups cubed watermelon, chilled and preferably seedless or with small seeds.
    • 1 1/2 cups ice cubes
    • fresh lime juice taken from half of one green lime
    • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
    • 2-3 large mint leaves
    • 1/4 – 1/2 cup water for a more fluid beverage (optional)

    How to Prepare Watermelon Summer Smoothie [Vegan]

    1. Put all ingredients in your high speed blender and blend until smooth.
    2. Add some water for a more fluid beverage and blend again.
    3. Pour into glasses and garnish as desired, for example, mint leaves, watermelon wedges or other fresh fruit.
    4. Serve immediately.
    5. Store leftover smoothie in a sealed glass bottle in fridge for one day
