    Fireside Sangria [Vegan]

Who said rosé was just for summer? Here is a delicious sparkling punch to cozy up with on colder days. It makes a refreshing and welcome alternative to the ubiquitous mulled wine at any festive gathering.

Ingredients You Need for Fireside Sangria [Vegan]

    • about 10 seedless white grapes, halved lengthways
    • about 10 seedless red grapes, halved lengthways
    • 1 small orange, finely sliced
    • 3 oz. (90 ml) Grand Marnier or other orange-flavored liqueur
    • 3 oz. (90 ml) aged sweet red vermouth (Carpano Antica Formula works well)
    • 3/4 cup (170 ml) clementine juice (or blood orange juice also works well)
    • 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) fresh, fruity Sauvignon Blanc (preferably from New Zealand)
    • 1 x 25-oz. (750-ml) bottle well-chilled sparkling rosé (a pink Champagne or rosé Prosecco both work well here)
    • dried orange slices and cinnamon sticks, to garnish
    • ice cubes

How to Prepare Fireside Sangria [Vegan]

    1. Put the grapes and orange slices in a punch bowl. Pour in all of the other ingredients, including plenty of ice cubes and stir.
    2. Serve ladled into ice-filled tumblers or red wine glasses and garnish each one with a dried orange slice and a cinnamon stick.
