    Ingredients You Need for Chickpea and Mushroom Burger [Vegan]

    For the Burgers:

    • 2 1/3 cup cooked chickpeas
    • 3/4 cup ground oats
    • 2/3 cup white mushrooms
    • 3 cloves garlic
    • 1 tablespoon parsley
    • 2 teaspoons onion powder
    • 2 and 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • zest 1/2 lemon
    • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
    • salt and pepper
    • bread, tomato, lettuce, onion

    For the Sauce:

    • 3 tablespoons mustard
    • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil

    How to Prepare Chickpea and Mushroom Burger [Vegan]

    For the Sauce:

    1. Combine all the ingredients and set aside.

    For the Burgers:

    1. Mash the chickpeas and mushrooms in a blender. parsley and garlic.
    2. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add the ground oats. Season with salt and pepper, add the onion powder, the cumin, the lemon zest and 2 tablespoons oil.
    3. Feel free to start mixing with a spoon and then work with the mixture by hand to make a homogeneous dough. Cover the bowl and put it in the fridge for 2 hours to cool and tighten the dough.
    4. Remove the dough from the fridge and shape it into 4 burgers. Brush them with oil and bake them on the grill for about 10 minutes on each side.
    5. To assemble the burgers, place the patty and add the tomato, a little lettuce and onion slices, and the sauce over top.
