Lucy and Tiffany Watson are two sisters with the desire to “bridge a gap in the dining market” when it comes to the representation of vegan dining in their area of New Kings Road, according to the Standard. They’ve petitioned a unique proposal to the Hammersmith and Fulham council. Their idea? A vegan restaurant called Tell Your Friends, that also hosts yoga classes.
If accepted, they plan to serve vegan dishes like fish and chips (made of breaded aubergine) non-meat steak, king oyster mushrooms, pulled pork burgers made from jackfruit and pretty, and lovely drinks with rose petals. Plastic straws will not be allowed. They also want to host yoga classes and cooking classes! There are a few concerns, though. Customers and neighbors think that it’ll cause too much noise and could potentially be dangerous.
We think this sounds like a fantastic idea, don’t you? It’ll be located near Parsons Green Tube in London. If it opens, we urge you to always, always drink responsibly!
We hope Tell Your Friends is able to open soon. But until then, opt for these similar vegan recipes from our Food Monster App.

This Tofu Fish And Chips recreates the British classic by wrapping tofu in nori, coated in breadcrumbs, and frying it until crispy. It’s easy to recreate at home and will definitely become your go-to dinner option.

If you want a jackfruit sandwich now, opt for this BBQ Pulled Jackfruit Sandwich. The smoky, subtly sweet barbecue sauce is slathered over meaty jackfruit, fired in a pan, and then topped with some guacamole.

If you’re looking for a feminine little drink, then this Pineapple Strawberry Aqua Fresca will impress you. It’s simply made by blending fruit with water, a bit of sweetener and a little lime juice.
If you enjoy recipes like this, we highly recommend downloading the Food Monster App, it’s available for both Android and iPhone and has free and paid versions. The app is loaded with thousands of allergy-friendly & vegan recipes/cooking tips, has hundreds of search filters and features like bookmarking, meal plans and more! The app shows you how having diet/health/food preferences can be full of delicious abundance rather than restrictions!
