The demand for dairy-free products has never been higher with nearly 50 million Americans reporting that they are lactose intolerant, on top of an astounding 500% increase in vegan consumers since 2014. In order to meet the needs of this shifting consumer climate, companies like Danone North America are looking to make some adjustments by becoming the first company to launch dairy-free creamer singles!

The new Silk Dairy-Free Vanilla Creamer Singles are vegan certified, non-GMO, soy-free, gluten-free, kosher, and free from artificial flavors will be the first-ever plant-based creamer to be packaged in single serving containers!

In anticipation of the rapidly growing health-conscious, vegan consumer, and a reported 3 billion dollars in sales of plant-based foods with an 85% increase in dairy-free creamers, Danone North America knew where they needed to focus.

Director of Innovation and Strategy at Danone, Tara Hintz, explains, “For a long time, we’ve heard the call for a convenient, on-the-go, plant-based creamer. When we connect with operators, it’s the first thing they ask about–because their customers want to see a dairy-free option at coffee stations. Silk is the #1 plant-based beverage brand, with 95 percent brand awareness, so patrons will definitely take notice.”

The new dairy-free Silk Creamer Singles have a slightly nutty flavor with a smooth, creamy vanilla finish and are available in 9 ml cups in a 192 count display box for your on-the-go coffee convenience!
