Some people only watch the Super Bowl for the commercials. They usually go one of two ways: they’re outrageous or they’re pretty great. An exciting ad that aired during the 2019 Super Bowl was one by Carl’s Jr. advertising the burger that resulted from their partnership with plant-based company, Beyond Meat.
Although the burger is sold with cheese and mayo, it can be asked for without both of those things to be made vegan. The commercial features a Western cowboy doing yoga while snacking on the burger. He gets into some pretty flexible, bendy poses while describing the meatless patty.
Like traditional Super Bowl ads, it’s pretty silly, but with the huge audience of the Super Bowl, it may have influenced tons of people to try a meatless burger!
