Cadbury Opens Vegan Chocolate Pop-Up in London!

The creators of Dairy Milk are going vegan! The company Cadbury is a British confectionery company most known for their Dairy Milk chocolate and their Creme Egg. To everyone’s surprise, the company opened a temporary vegan sweets shop in London.

The new vegan pop-up shop will be open for only five days but will showcase all kinds of vegan chocolate and hopefully show people vegan chocolate can taste just as good! Customers will be greeted with a free Cadbury Plant Bar, which was initially released at the end of 2021.

The company announced their new vegan chocolate in a hilarious Instagram post, saying, “Sorry it’s taken this long. Sorry it seemed like we weren’t listening to your calls. Sorry for not being able to respond to the rumors. And sorry for all of the other chocolate you’ve had to eat while you waited.”

The post continues, “We simply wanted it to be perfect. And just as with plants, perfection takes time. But the Cadbury Plant Bar is finally ready. A delicious smooth Chocolate, without the ‘glass and a half’. We hope you’ll agree it was worth the wait.”

The bar has had so much success and probably prompted the company to open up this awesome pop-up shop. The bars come in two flavors, Smooth Chocolate and Salted Caramel. The company uses almond paste instead of dairy milk to make its incredibly delicious chocolates.

With all of the new milk alternatives and veganism growing in popularity, it’s easy to find vegan sweets like ice cream, chocolate, and cakes in today’s market. London is known for having a large vegan and dairy-free population and hopefully, the success of the pop-up will influence the company to go full force with their vegan line!

The pop-up is located at 15 Bateman Street, W1D 4AQ, and will be open Tuesday, March 22-26, 12 pm – 6 pm, and Sundays 12 to 4 pm.
