Vegan confectionery startup, Fellow Creatures, recently won over investors, allowing the company’s products to finally hit the shelves for consumers. The chocolate bars are now available at WH Smith travel outlets across the UK and in 70 Sainsbury’s stores.
The founder of Fellow Creatures, Zsolt Stefkovics, who started the brand in 2019, said his ambition was to build “the Oatly of plant-based chocolate.”
The company has a range of five premium range swiss chocolate confections, which are all made with a formula of creamed coconut in the place of milk. They are designed to taste similar to milk-based chocolate bars. The range of milkless vegan chocolates will include flavors like creamy milkless chocolate, creamy hazelnut chocolate, raspberry white chocolate, matcha white chocolate, and salted caramel chocolate.
The vegan company won an astounding amount of high-profile investors in the vegan business community, setting themselves up for success in the near future as they make their name in the vegan chocolate market.
This launch is exciting news for all chocolate-loving vegans since the market for vegan chocolate bars is still quite small.
