Admit it: you probably spend more time scrolling through Instagram and liking photos of vegan food than you spend on making your own food — and that’s okay! Trust us, we’re (very) guilty of doing just that. And why not? So much of the food on Instagram looks so darn pretty. Or, if it’s not absolutely gorgeous, it’s the stuff that could only come from pure foodie genius. Recently, we’ve been obsessing over vegan doughnut shop Instagram accounts (Oh, yes!).

Instagram food trends may come and go, but there’s one thing that never changes and that is our love of vegan doughnuts. Because there’s nothing quite like waking up to a cup of coffee and a photo of an over-the-top doughnut, here are a few of our favorites that are sure to get your morning Insta-sugar fix.

1. Peaceful Provisionsprob

Peaceful Provisions has become famous for their ultra-decadent croissant doughnuts — a treat with the delicious, buttery flakiness of a croissant in doughnut form. We can’t stop our obsession with their everything croissant-doughnut (a sweet, flaky pastry with everything bagel seasoning). But they also specialize in treats like cheesecake triple decker brownies stuffed with sandwich cookies, a vegan doughnut stuffed with homemade Ferrero Rocher, and cannoli and rice pudding stuffed doughnuts. They don’t have a storefront yet, but if you live in the NYC area you can find them at pop-up events like Vegan Shop-Up and Vegan Market. Trust us, it’s worth it. If you can make it, be sure to get there early. Peaceful Provisions is in high demand and they sell out fast.

2. Donut Friend

Based out of Los Angeles, California, Donut Friend is the friend that we always knew we needed. What makes them so fantastic? Apart from awesome flavor concoctions like Polar Berry Club (lemon glaze, fresh mixed berries, and mint on top of a traditional doughnut), their stuffed doughnuts are like dessert sandwiches. This is the stuff that dreams are made from.

3. The Cinnamon Snailcinnamon

The Cinnamon Snail started as a food truck that sold over-the-top doughnut flavors (our favorite kind) and amazing burgers to hungry customers. But, they were so good at what they did that they not only won the Vendy Cup for Best Food Truck in NYC, they were also able to open up a brick-and-mortar located at The Pennsy, a food hall in Manhattan. Their “cute concoction creator” is constantly coming up with the most adorable and creative pastries you’ll ever see, like Unicorn “pop tarts”, cookies and cream manatee doughnuts, or even Starry Night lemon raspberry cheesecake doughnuts to celebrate Van Gogh’s birthday. You literally won’t be able to stop scrolling.

With these three vegan doughnut shops in your feed, you’re pretty much guaranteed to have a good morning, every day!
