When you see an elderly or disabled person, it goes without saying that you will you go out of your way to help them out. You might prop open a door or help them bring heavy boxes out to their car or do another simple, but kind act. So when we see an elderly or disabled dog, shouldn’t you do the same thing? The man in this video shows exactly how we should treat our older pet companions.
Pao, the dog in the box cart, is 16 years old. They say that one human year equals seven dog years, so in reality Pao is 112! His guardian Ootsuki treats this mature individual with the respect he deserves by pulling him in a little cart so he doesn’t have to walk everywhere.
Dogs get joint problems and arthritis just like we do, so this dog is probably very thankful. The video ends with a great takeaway quote, “Try to be as nice a person as your dog thinks you are.” If everyone lived their lives this way, humanity would be much better off don’t you think?
