The importance of being polite seems to be lost on today’s youth. All these modern young people are interested in is updating their Facebook status and Instagramming food (because otherwise they would NEVER eat). Geez Louise, what is wrong with kids today! It’s as if they never even learned what it means to have proper manners.
Well, lucky for these gauche youths, this little kitten is around to show them the true meaning of courtesy.
The kitten is all snuggled up in his favorite bed by the window when his elderly cat friend stops by. Clearly, this is a coveted seat for its proximity to the warm wedge of sunlight and, of course, the comfy box. Rather than telling the elder cat to “scram” the kitten happily offers up his seat. What a thoughtful little guy!
And it looks like this kind gesture certainly pays off for the kitten. Not only does the kitten feel good about doing a good deed, but he gets the ultimate prize, major snuggle time with his friend. See, being polite ain’t so bad after all!
He probably moved because that thing smelled like old pussy…
Clearly this writer has no knowledge of animal behavior and couldn\’t find something more meaningful to write about today. The kitten moved aside because the older cat was above him/her in the pecking order. Ever hear of that? It is the order in the animal kingdom (including humans) that we all are a part of a pecking order. There are alphas who out-rank anyone else, and we all pretty much are bossed by them. Then comes betas, and so on down the line. Geez, read a book sometimes!!!!
