This is Hilarious! Adorable Meerkats Nod Off (VIDEO)

How many times have you been at your desk at work and feel so exhausted or just sleepy that you could literally fall right out of your chair to the ground? Well, it might not happen often to us humans, but it sure does happen a lot to meerkats and they look pretty darn cute when they randomly nod off.

In the video below, a mob of meerkats are out enjoying the warm sun of a Southern African desert, when suddenly they begin to drop like flies. But don’t worry — they’re not sick, they’re just so comfortable they’re falling asleep. Watch as their big dark eyes slowly disappear behind their furry eyelids, as their heads begin to nod and finally they’re cute bodies go limp when they finally surrender to sleep.

So although cats might fall asleep anywhere, these meerkats can fall asleep at any moment. These mammals from the mongoose family are certainly cute to look at and their narcoleptic-like tendency is too funny to miss!
