Justin is a beautiful black and white cat with the fluffiest tail you ever-did-see! Seeing pictures of Justin now, you would never guess that as a kitten he was burned in a fire. At just five-weeks old, Justin sustained burns over one-third of his body and his little ears had to be amputated. Luckily, with the help of the Animal Alliance of New Jersey and now sits before us as happy and resilient as ever.

Paying forward all the love he was given as a rescued kitten, Justin has now taken to cuddling the other rescue kitties his guardian fosters. Clearly he understands the trauma and fear a small cat can feel and is committed to making his furry visitors feel right at home with a hug and a snuggle.

Justin is quite the example of how far love and compassion can go when an animal in need is given a loving home. There are over 70 million stray animals in the U.S. looking for a good home. Choosing to rescue a pet in need may seem like a small task to take on, but just seeing Justin’s endless supply of love and gratitude shows what a BIG, awesome thing adopting is!
