Super Senior Shelter Dog Celebrates His 23rd Birthday!

super senior chihuahua dog

A super senior dog named Cooper is melting hearts on TikTok after the shelter where he lives posted a three-part video of him celebrating his 23rd birthday. Cooper came to the shelter roughly a year ago after his human passed away. Although the super senior dog is not up for adoption, he gets to enjoy his life at the shelter. Cooper has some medical issues, which keep him from being adoptable. However, he still gets lots of love and attention. Additionally, the dog spends weekends at a shelter staff member’s house so that he does not have to be alone.

Part 3 | Cooper’s 23rd Birthday Party 🎉 One whole year after being rescued, Cooper has a lot to celebrate. 1. Going viral on #tiktok 2. Getting a painful eye removed 3. Being able to be carried a couple steps across the larking lot to the on-site vet whenever he needs it 4. Becoming a #yah_sanctuary dog so that a whole organization of people is always looking out for him 5. Getting a second chance to live his best life in his 20’s!! And so much more! Coop had a fantastic day spent with his human and canine friends, even if he slept through a lot of it. To celebrate honor Cooper turning 23, consider making a $23 donation to help save more super seniors at risk! To end the day, Cooper enjoyed some special snuggles with his favorite people and some doggie friends. He also got to open some presents, which included a special doggie bed for the super senior.

Viewers loved the videos of Cooper enjoying his birthday. Many expressed wishes that their own senior dogs would live as long as Cooper has. Many others simply wished the super senior dog a happy birthday!
