Running on the treadmill can be exhausting! Not only do you have to, well … keep running … if you don’t want to fall on your face, but you just have to keep going and not really get anywhere. It’s a lot like being a hamster trapped on a wheel! But, exercise is incredibly important for a healthy, balanced lifestyle, so we suffer through the monotony that is the treadmill nevertheless.

The Sheltie in this video, however, has figured out a genius method to effectively cheat the treadmill. He starts off really feeling the burn, running at full force … then the burn just starts to hurt a little too much, so downgrades to a half-body workout. It’s really rather efficient if you think about it, his back legs get a rest while the front keep on grinding. We would totally try this next time we hit the gym, but trying to figure it out with only two legs might be a tad tricky …
